Importing into Lightroom directly from the iPad

This is a quick tip which is blatantly obvious once you’ve done it.

The problem was how to get photos off my iPad and into Lightroom on my Mac. I looked at apps to do this and actually found AirDisk for getting photos off the iPad over Wifi via a web browser.

However the solution to the problem was actually simpler than this. Just plugging the iPad into the Mac and Opening Lightroom and clicking on Import provides you with direct access to the iPad’s photos.

Simple when you know how..
